Hey guys, so I'm finally getting off my lazy ass, well I wouldn't really say getting off my lazy ass since I'll still be at the computer to learn moonspeak. Since it's winter break and all, I thought the least I can do is learn the language of all the shit I watch and read and I've got to say, it's going well so far. I've got most of the katakana down. Well, enough I can (mostly) understand what's being said if it's written in kata. Smart.fm is absolutely amazing for this. I really feel like I can actually learn this. Next stop, mastering hiiragana and then moving on towards the dreadful kanji. If I can actually learn Japanese, that will be fucking awesome. Maybe the wait on tales games coming to the US wouldn't be so painful anymore since by the next 2 games or so.

I think this is the most important personal hurdle one can jump. It's all within your grasp now, buddy.
Hopefully you can stick with it.
I haven't accomplished anything I set out to get done on winter break, but it isn't over yet!
